It’s that time of year when we might be outside enjoying the nicer weather. We want everyone to enjoy communal gardens in a safe way, which means we can’t allow any paddling pools or trampolines in our communal areas.
Whilst these items can be fun for children, they can also be dangerous, particularly if left in communal areas where children could use them unsupervised.
Because of this, we will remove any paddling pools, trampolines and other play equipment from communal areas without notice.
If your children use toys in communal gardens, please make sure that they’re put away at the end of the play session. It’s important that toys aren’t left around where people could fall over them, or prevent people from leaving safely in the event of a fire.
We occasionally hear from some customers that they’ve been injured by a hazard in a communal area, such as a nail sticking out of a fence or a loose paving slab, that's been that way for some time.
It's important to report this to us as soon as you can. If you see anything in our communal areas that may harm you or anyone else, please let us know so we can fix things before someone gets hurt.
