VIVID, a leading provider of affordable homes in the south of England, are thrilled to support a number of local organisations fund their own apprenticeship training.
Since teaming up with Paragon Skills, a training provider specialising in care and education, VIVID have funded apprenticeships for 33 learners in the local care sector. That’s a donation of £159,000 from their levy which would have otherwise expired.
Funding learning and development for the local care sector helps to positively impact more lives, and aids in supporting communities to thrive. It indirectly makes a difference by funding the development of the care services people use at every stage of their lives, from childcare, young people and families, right up to adult care.
Levy-paying businesses can transfer up to 25% of their annual funds, so smaller businesses can benefit without having to pay.
Susan Noone, Head of People at VIVID, said: “We’re very proud to have funded apprenticeships for the likes of Guardian Angel Carers and Step by Step Partnership.
“The process of transferring funds to smaller businesses is so easy to setup, it adds significant social value to our communities and we are pleased to be able to support young people gain access to much needed apprenticeships.”
Carol Goring, Business Development Manager at Paragon Skills said: “The stream of funds coursing through the dynamic partnership between VIVID and Paragon Skills has not only fuelled the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) but has also paved the way for a journey towards sustainable expansion and shared success.”
