We're gearing up for the official celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, to mark the Queen's 70 years of service.
It’s set to be a momentous and significant occasion with a 2-day Bank Holiday in the diary in early June, along with large-scale events planned. We know that many of our customers will be looking to attend community events, parades and street parties to mark the occasion.
We’d like to ask that if any of you are taking part in any outdoor parties or celebrations for the event, please take care and be respectful of your neighbours.
If you experience any antisocial behaviour issues, make a note of what’s happening and report it to the Police on 101. Or, please contact us to let us know, but be aware our contact centre hours will change over the Bank Holiday weekend.
If you’d like some more information on how to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, there’s lots of helpful websites out there which provide ideas and guidance:
If you have any questions which aren’t answered on this page, or you’re looking to organise a larger celebration in your community, please speak to your Neighbourhood Officer first or get in touch with us. Details on who your Neighbourhood Officer is can be found here.
We hope you enjoy the celebrations!
